WHAT DO I NEED TO OPEN A PERSONAL ACCOUNT AT THE CREDIT UNION?

* You must be a U.S. citizen or a U.S. resident alien
* Identification (driver's license, passport, state ID, or military ID card)
* Previous home address (if you have lived at your home address for less than two years)
* Taxpayer Identification Number, i.e., Social Security Number
* Funds to make the initial deposit:
- $25 fee to open a Regular Share (Savings) and $50 for Share Draft (Checking)

DOES NE PA CREDIT UNION OFFER NOTARY SERVICES?

Yes, we offer free notary services to members in good standing by appointment only. Walk-ins will be accepted on a case-by-case basis as notaries are available. Our notaries can notarize most types of documents, except mortgage documents (does not apply to NE PA Credit Union Mortgage Modifications).

Before your notary appointment, make sure you understand and complete the documents you need to sign. Our notaries cannot provide legal advice. If you need witnesses, please bring them with you to your appointment.

HOW DO I WIRE MONEY TO THE CREDIT UNION?

Receiving Wire Transfers:

For wire transfers that you send to our credit union, you will need to provide the sending financial institution the following information.

Funds Are Sent To:

NE PA Community Federal Credit Union
Account #: 231386221
For Final Credit To: Name on Account at NE PA to Receive Credit
Account #: Your Account Number at NE PA
Reference Information: Any special information on how we are to apply the funds

HOW DO I DISPUTE A FRAUDULENT (UNAUTHORIZED) CHARGE ON MY ACCOUNT?

You have 60 days to dispute a fraudulent (unauthorized) charge on your account.

Please print and complete the Visa Fraudulent Transactions and Plastic Card Affidavit of Forgery forms. (These two forms should be completed at the same time.) You may fax, mail, or drop off the forms to any of our branches.

HOW DO I DISPUTE A MERCHANT CHARGE (NON-FRAUDULENT) ON MY ACCOUNT?

Before disputing a merchant charge (non-fraudulent), please contact the merchant to resolve the error. If you are unsuccessful, you have 60 days to dispute a merchant charge (non-fraudulent) on your account.


Please submit a letter of explanation and supporting documentation along with a Visa Debit Card/Check Card Dispute Form. You may fax, mail, or drop off the form to any of our branches.
